I didn't want to make open assumptions, but my quiet ones appear to have been correct. A democrat and Bernie supporter, from a blue state.

Let's prosecute him for: 1) Shooting at Law Enforcement Personnel, 2) Endangering the lives of ALL in the ballpark, 3) Attempted MURDER on a Public Official and various other LAWS that he broke.
Let's NOT prosecute him for: 1) Political affiliation, 2) Residency, 3) Color of skin, 4) Religious affiliation and any NON-Legal items.
Why is a person broken down to the NON-Legal definitions versus the LAWS that they break? I see it when we are trying to raise hate for Muslims as well. PROSECUTE them for the CRIME and stop telling me they don't know any better. DO NOT prosecute them for beliefs, prosecute them IF/WHEN they break the LAW and treat them like ANY LAWBREAKER. That is when we can say we stand for JUSTICE and AMERICA again.

Side A makes a blanket statement about a particular topic about Side B. Then a supporter of Side A does something that Side A was just blaming Side B for. So then Side B says "Haha look! You're wrong, it's your people!" And it turns into a vicious circle.

I get not making it about race and other non factors, when it plays no part in the act BUT it was politically motivated...when he confirmed it was Republicans before his attempted murders spree? The fact that he is a self avowed National Socialist and avid support of Bernie Sanders should not and cannot be ignored. The vile and venom of the Left since the results of election were know is not an non-issue in this attack. There will not be any prosecution, outside of the public discourse, because the attacker is being judged by the highest court already.

What more punishment would it take to make you happy? Both side have "follower" that spew hatred and unadulterated racists. Does that make ALL the people in those parties Racists?
