PFC (Join to see) Wow, I had no idea! I found many other articles and video's about this...going to check them out. I was born and raised in Japan and had dual citizenship till I was 16 and my dad made me choose to be only one. Thanks for the share...Very interesting and very disconcerting.

I'm very jealous of you visited once foreign exchange for a summer. I knew this was happening since the 90s since I was kid it was taught in my school and the conversation came up in my political Science class and I was surprised this was still happening and even worse now.

As far as this I don't know how they can do that especially with some of those anime it's mind boggling.

PFC (Join to see) - yep, very strict...they only get 3 wks off in the summer...and you do not automatically get into high school...there are many who only go through the 8th grade. Germany is the same...very strict and only one month off in the summer....and not a whole lot of holidays in-between.
Violence is not prevalent in Japan....parents are strict...and Japanese kids...like myself...have a different frame of mind...they are much more disciplined and goal oriented and they respect their elders unlike a lot of kids in the US who just don't give a hoot.

Sgt Kelli Mays - also though they are very stressed it is concerning how bad because I keep hearing about the underage suicide rate their because adolescents feel they have failed and see no other option but to end their life which is not necessary at all.

This is actually very unique it was topic of conversation in my political Science class. The United States and the north American countries see at last a .05 percent population growth yearly on average. With most of European countries having at least 0% population growth meaning no gains or losses in terms population of a country but Japan has been strikingly continuously having negative population growth and there has not been a spike for at least almost 25 years. China is also having a problem like that as well because eod "the one child policy".

SPC Douglas Bolton - like it's just interesting that it has been continuously negative population growth with absolutely no slight increase none there should be at least a year every now and the. That should have seen a slight halt or slight upward spike in certain years but none it been consistently dropping.
