This area of Forest would be a perfect training ground for our infantry Platoons. Using drones overhead and smaller drones to see with infrared. Setting up Trip wires attached to claymore mines. Spying on the area Mosques too. The enemy is getting recruits from somewhere and money.
I write this. Because, the enemy is at war with the world. Although, this example is local, it shows their ideology is ongoing. Raiding, murder, slavery...
It will grow like a Cancer. Once the enemy is located, bring in fixed wing support to eradicate the vermin.
