Jim Webb: Ask Jim Webb to Run for President as an Independent

Alright. Here is the thing. No Republican candidate can win a national election.
Secondly -- with my usual tact and persuasive way -- How military is our Military if it won't vote for a Navy Cross winner?
Jim Webb is the best candidate running for president -- by far.
Besides graduating from Annapolis at the top of his class, being first in his class of 243 lieutenants at the Basic School, being a platoon and company commander and winning a Navy Cross, Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts in Viet Nam, he was a committee general counsel, congressional staffer, official in the Defense Department, SecNav and senator, he is a NY Times best selling author, has the screenwriting credit for "Rules of Engagement" and he even has a bleeping EMMY.
But the thing that is so awesome is that he resigned as SeNav in protest of what the SecDef asked him to do. It blew me away at the time. Who does that? The story is that the SecDef Carlucci asked him to misrepresent facts to the Congress. He laid it on Carlucci at the time. Awesome. Specifically he was asked to misrepresent the usefulness of a new class of Navy warships.
Senator Webb is exactly what we need.

So I take it you voted for John McCain in 2008 because "...how miltiary is our military if it won't vote for a..." Silver Star awardee?

There was a much better candidate than McCain in 2008.
This year Senator Webb is the best candidate by far. But he appears to get a tepid response from people who should know better.

I don't think that having a medal makes you a good candidate for President. I wouldn't vote for Audie Murphy for President either.
If the "military" is supposed to vote for the "military" just because it's "military" is like voting Republican because you are Republican. Vote for people, not for groups.

I'm referring to the fact that every Socialist country has made significant progress toward the policies of the National Socialist Workers Party. Take the control away from Socialist and you get free markets, Socialism requires control to be effective.

There are many similarities but modern progressives seem to aspire to the Mao method of collectivism, blame it on the rich while I become even richer and the poor become even poorer. Socialism (usurpation of individual liberties by their own Government) is the worst idea ever imposed upon the working class of any nation. Nazi Germany was may more Socialist than just in name.
Jim Webb seems a much more solid candidate than any other in the Dem race, but it doesn't matter because HRC is getting the nomination (superdelegates) the DNC doesn't actually believe in democracy to choose their own nominee. Then you have the Burn, who's twisted sense of communism and genuine ignorance of economic law purport ideas that would never be passed through congress anyway.
