I've got a few friends with jobs in Homeland Security. They all seem to love it.

I was a plank holder at DHS when everyone was given GS-15 as the starting pay level. They offered me the SES level... but I foolishly thought remaining a contractor was the way to go. Now, I have my former employer fighting every attempt at getting employment because they wanted me to stay in DC and not come to LA.
