Thanks TSgt Joe C. for letting us know that on February 16, 1778 two future presidents of the United States, John Adams and his son, 10-year-old John Quincy Adams, sat down in Marblehead Harbor, off the coast of Massachusetts, on board the frigate, Boston, which was taking them to France, where John Adams would replace Silas Deane in Congress’ commission to negotiate a treaty of alliance with France during the Revolutionary War.
