We worked with the South Korean 17th White Horse Div and they operated with BAR teams that were very effective in the jungles of Vietnam that old 30 cal could punch through a lot of bamboo!

I was to tall to be a BAR man, that 20 pound gun with it's 20 round magazine always went to the shortest Soldier in the platoon!
