I believed he made a few valid points. Physical fitness for one, the decoration system is another, quantity over quality, and leading by example. However, the services have changed. This is not your father's/mother's Army, Marine, Navy, and Air Force. I disagree with putting hands on people or punishing folks the old way. The services will continue to change and people will have to make up their mind if they want to stay or leave. People will have to adapt and adjust. I always encourage folks to do what makes them happy, but make sure you have a plan before you jump.
