Johnny boy needs to pipe down and retire, his little antics while a POW will bite him in the ass. He comes from well connected Navy Admirals.

Neither IMO, Military Service really is not big deal to me just like me knowing their Taxes, both of these and a few others does not make a good President. I want someone in office that supports our Military without question, supports the common man in any way he can, and someone who Loves the United States with all his/her Heart! We have had to many in office that would rather support anyone not a US Citizen over those who elected him/her.

I somewhat agree but I think the Vietnam War is far enough in history that POTUS can be honest about it instead of continue to promote a BS line.

SPC Erich Guenther - That leaves out most of your republicans and democrats in any political office.There's only a handful of politicians that actually served in combat.I agree it would be helpful as Commander in Chief but as far as economics and how to run a country,not so much.Before this last election everyone was against having the same old politicians.Wanting someone from the outside.I don't care about taxes.They only started that when Reagan was running for president.So it's not like it's really a tradition.And they were handing out deferments like it was candy so I have no problem with that either.I was in one of the last Basic Training classes that had draftees in it.And they were actually treated better than the guys that enlisted.At least in my company.

We've had several Vietnam dodging presidents, and I've been disappointed by them all. It's not like the Senator wasn't provoked by previous comments by POTUS, this has been going on for a while and is frankly a bit embarrassing.
