Saudi Arabia was responsible for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist, columnist and author who became critical of the Saudi government and the royal family. He wrote against Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman on the Saudi intervention in Yemen. The Saudi government blocked Khashoggi's Twitter account and he thereafter fled from Saudi Arabia.
