I have worked in front of the polling stations for about 20 years welcoming voters and wishing them farewell after they voted, my friend PO1 William "Chip" Nagel. Sometimes I have been asked to come into the poling station to help them in a nonpartisan way.
For the past 10 years the poling station has been at a church. Now I can open the door for people in wheelchairs or others who need help.
