And this one was a simple failure to follow their own regulation and just making it up as the went along. Acting this amateurishly usually backfires.

Although they ordered more review the pumping continues. So, it's not really much of a blow to the administration. On paper only. In the past some environmental groups have sabotaged things, such as spiking trees etc. I hope they won't do something like that just to shut the pipeline down. That's what courts are for and when they do something like that they discredit the efforts.
