This is a big step forward. I wish it had been instituted many years ago. Now what I want to see is ONE unified JAG or at least a group like the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

I know of two service members, to whom this will benefit, and hundreds if not thousands more......
However..... being able to receive benefits and changing a discharge status are two completely different things.....
Both of the Joe's I reference above, saw some nasty stuff; and subsequently made bad decisions, which resulted in their discharge.
You cannot absolve them of their personal responsibility, but, at the time, they should have access to deal with the fall out of their service.

CPT Ray Gilmore Beautifully articulated, Sir! And there are quite a number of OTHs that are just plain knit picking, too. That's a whole other topic and likely varies by branch.
