I don't know the full answer to this question but I can maybe out a little insight on some of it. I myself do know a few illegal immigrants and have known many others in the past few years. A lot of them don't know what paperwork to fill out, how to fill I think out so on and so fourth. It's kind of the same idiocracy as how to find out how to change your military experience into college credits. It's easy for some but harder for others in knowing how to go about getting done.

So the ones I would help apply were good to go. But I had one guy tell me that some don't want citizenship because if they get in trouble for doing anything illegal nothing happens to them. Because there not citizens they are not subject to our federal or state laws, beyond just deporting. Unless of course it's murder, but even then they may do a few years here but they don't get the death penalty. They just get deported. And he said most times, depending on the immigration status in the deportation centers, meaning if there full or not. A lot of times there just let go because there's no room. But that was just from a few sources not all.

While he is a brother in arms, he broke the law..there is one standard and regretfully we must enforce that standard..I am sure there have been plenty of opportunities for yourself to gain citizenship, yet you are not. This is of your own doing and you must live with your choices..
