The end of the article speculates on whether an evaluation is enough to keep the President from firing Sessions as AG. I'd like to see Sessions go at this point, because I don't see a lot of evidence that he is doing much or is motivated to do much. If he actually is doing a great job but we're just not hearing about it, then I reserve the right to change my mind. But until then, I would LOVE to see Sessions be replaced by Trey Gowdy, a guy who is an experienced prosecutor, respects the law, and doesn't take shit from anyone.

Yeah, I d love to see Trey in that role, as well. But it ain't happening. In regards to Jeff Sessions, I used to work in the DOJ. One of the Cardinal Rules of government work is that the less we hear about someone is in direct proportion to how good they are doing their job. Conversely, if your face is on the small screen and in newspapers a lot, get a good lawyer!!!
