How do you feel about Kaitie Couric altering the footage of her gun documentary?
Katie Couric has admitted that she edited footage from her gun documentary which causes the gun owners to look stupid and that they don't know what they're talking about. What do you think should happen to Katie Couric for this? I think she should be fired.

Is there anyone left in America who doesn't yet understand that we are a people divided. Trump didn't divide us. We the People divided ourselves. During the Revolutionary War the Colonists were divided roughly into thirds: Rebel, Tory, and I'm headed for the hills, let me know how it turns out. During the Revolution, some of the most vicious battles were fought between Rebels and Tories. Then there was the Civil War: Abolitionists, Slave Holders, and let's head west, Ma. We are still divided roughly into thirds: Conservative, Progressive, and I don't want to hear about it. The prize goes to the most aggressive third. During the past century, the most aggressive has been the Progressives. Katie Couric is a Progressive. Never was much question of that. She and her team edited their "documentary" aggressively to denigrate Conservatives (you know, those who cling to their Bibles and Guns and Constitution). Meanwhile, Conservatives meekly gather (even picking up after themselves) while Progressives have been winning: They've taken over our government and our schools. The only question is, When will Conservatives begin fighting back?

Should the Rebels have cared what the Tories wanted? Should the abolitionists cared what the slave owners wanted? Should I care what progressives want? Compromise is only possible when opposing sides agree on the ends. They may then debate and compromise on the means to those common ends. The problem today is that Americans are not divided on the means but rather on the ends. I for one, want freedom and am willing to accept the responsibility that comes with freedom. There are many today who only want freedom from responsibility
