The sky is falling, Exxon gives $1 million dollars to Carbon Tax friendly US organization to push for Carbon Taxes in all 50 states while at the same time 3 Governors (Premiers) in Canada are going to take on the Canadian Federal Government in Court ( if necessary) to opt out of the Canadian Government's desire for a Carbon Tax. The tax is already voluntary or being voluntold by the Feds to the Provinces. They know it won't save the world, they know it is too costly and they know it is not revenue neutral. It will hurt the competitiveness of the industries and be inflationary. I pay about 25 cents a gallon more than I was 2 years ago. My natural gas bill is about $15 a month higher during winter. I will not reduce consumption. We don't have global cooling that much in Canada. It was 32F all day yesterday. I live in Canada and progressives in California already have a carbon tax and last week the media was blasting away at the failure of the Civilized world in doing its part in mitigating C02 while China and other continue to harvest coal worldwide and burn it! This article will make progressives drive their Prius, Tesla or Hybrid car back to Costco and buy a gallon of Kaopectate and buy more Depends. They will not like this story because it hurts their narrative.
