Don't feel bad, I've gotten some too. They usually come with a smile from some man in manjams before a boom. Or some fool in Kabul who just has nothing to live for since his team won't be in the World Cup, all his goats left him, and Green Bean Coffee is out of his favorite blend for the third day in a row. Sorry lady, your "threats" don't compare when the ones we get are not really threats, but guarantees if you make one mistake. I also don't have a "security team" with me everywhere I go in the states. I'll walk a rather uncomfortable mile in your heals, would you do the same in any of our boots?

Don't lose sight of the fact that you volunteered to put on a uniform, as did I, and we went where we were told to go. There's no comparing her job now with the one either of us had, and there's no excusing the threats she's receiving.

CDR Jon Corrigan - When you entice an known outcome you do not get to play "victim". I know good and fool well I volunteered to do what I did for a nation that doesn't even know I exist, any more than they know you do. I'm not looking to put anyone in office. I just want to bring my joes home to their families alive and on their feet. When your strategy is to manipulate and "guide" others feelings (this is something both sides do), and it backfires, suck it up and move on. Stop playing "woe is me, I didn't do anything wrong". Also reading more on her, this isn't her first time doing this, it's her first time doing it in a Presidential setting. I have no sympathy for her, anymore than I would from HRC's camp.

SSG Warren Swan - I never expected anyone to know I existed, and I'm quite happy living in a place where damned few know what I've done. That said, however, doesn't excuse anybody sending death threats to a political figure, any of their assistants, appointees, etc. She didn't do anything wrong, and neither did her counterpart working for HRC. This is the way our system works and none of us should tolerate mental midgits issuing death threats from Mommy's basement. I hope someone tracks these oxygen thieves down.

I would never say the threats were justified. But she should have known that Trump is a crazy magnet. She could leave the team she is on now is she thinks it is dangerous.
