Key Truman decision remembered today

Seventy years ago today, President Harry Truman ordered the desegregation of the armed services and of the federal workforce. The Truman Library in Independence is holding two events today to mark that anniversary.

I was there a few years back as a member of the Color Guard for the annual wreath laying ceremony for Truman and his family. Beautiful library.
