Know it's the time of the year when northerners think of coming to Florida. Keep this in mind as you stock up on sunscreen for the trip. As article mentions, Hawaii also has a similar ban.

Fortunately we are slowly becoming aware of the harm simple things like sunscreen can have on our environment.

If it was true that Sunscreen Chemicals harm the reefs, then Guam's reefs would have been dead 50+ years ago. Some scientist just have nothing better to do.

I dove the reefs around Guam and other islands in the chain. They aren't as healthy as you imply, plus they don't have nearly the population swimming in the waters around them as the Florida Keys and Hawaii.
