Nowadays, TSgt Joe C., whenever I think of the Revolutionary War, I'm frequently reminded of the interchange between American cowboy Quigley and the British army major in the movie "Quigley Down Under":

Major Ashley-Pitt: In our experience, Americans are uncouth misfits who should be run out of their own barbaric country.

Matthew Quigley: Well, Lieutenant...

Major Ashley-Pitt: Major.

Matthew Quigley: Major. We already run the misfits outta our country. We sent 'em back to England.

Thanks fro reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on March 30, 1775 King George III formally endorsed the New England Restraining Act on this day in 1775 which required New England colonies to trade exclusively with Great Britain as of July 1, 1775.
