There was definitely a screw up somewhere...whether it had been in the understanding of the details on his part, or in how the details were presented when he was put in there by the organization that set this up to begin with I'm not sure. I don't understand how he can, even if previously told he wouldn't have to pay rent, sign lease to infact pay rent unless the organization was supposed to pick it up and didn't. Either way it's a shame and something should really try to be done to rectify the situation. I can imagine how worrisome it would be to someone of his age to not know whether he was going to have a place to live or not.
