Those were certainly different times when seemingly superstar Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and his NVA communist counterpart Le Duc Tho signed the "new" peace agreement on June 13, 1973 SP5 Mark Kuzinski
While the agreement signaled an end of hostilities many more soldiers and citizens of South Vietnam died before we pulled out in April 1975. After that point the NVA slaughtered many more.

Wars never end until one side prevails over the other. Bullets will beat words every time.

SP5 Mark Kuzinski, true; words can start wars, but only overwhelming force can truly end them.
