Sgt Wayne Wood - I don't have a problem with voter ID. I have a problem with how each state wants to implement it. When a person registers to vote, they get a voter photo ID, not the PoS card we get now. Screw driver licenses, state IDs, conceal carry IDs; streamline the process and eliminate all the bureaucracy. It's not that hard.

Sgt Wayne Wood - Nope. Like I said, keep it simple. When you register you get a voter photo ID from that state. When you relocate and choose to update registration, you get a new photo ID from that state.

Sounds good to me... motor/voter was a bad idea, especially in states where you needn't prove citizenship. That's the only caveat for your idea as well.
