Korea: Danger On The DMZ - July 27 1953 to October 3 1991

For me, 83-84 and 87-90, all with the Cav! Then 1991-2000, was a contractor. Have several more videos about Korea and mostly of the DMZ on youtube.

06-07 and 09-10 for me at Cp Hovey and ans Suwon. In retrospect I like the battle rythym of my units while in South Korea. Lots of training and preparedness not a bad way to be. You often here lots of partying stories of Soldiers time in Korea but, troops worked hard over there. Forged friendship etc...

Work hard, play hard.... That was the attitude back in the 80s. :-) Back then we worked 5 1/2 days a week when not in the field or on mission on the DMZ or not on QRF when in garrison. In the old Western Corridor, still had curfews set by the ROKs to abide, 1988 with the coming of the Olympics the curfews were dropped except north of the Imjin-gak....
