It will take time to recover. My girlfriend had covid was diagnosed on December 6th. She just went back to work last Monday. She didn't go to the hospital but she's been in rough shape. I live alone I haven't seen her but I've been communicating via video chat.

I think there are actually two large sub sets of long covid. One for those with viral fatigue syndrome and then one for those with permanent organ damage. The organ damage group is as well divided into sub groups based on the combination of any organs damaged.

Research has found that though the COVID-19 virus largely affects the lungs, other organs can be damaged by it as well. Most of the damage scientists have seen so far has been concentrated to the heart, lungs, and brain, including damage to the heart muscle, scar tissue in the lungs, and strokes and seizures. The virus can also increase the likelihood of dangerous blood clots in the heart, lungs, legs, liver, and kidneys. So betting health issues relating to the pandemic will be impacting us for a couple of generations.
