Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that January 8 is the 95th anniversary of the birth of U.S. Navy WWII veteran who later became an American comedian and actor Lawrence Samuel Storch.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II on the submarine tender USS Proteus (AS-19) which was Fulton-class submarine tender. He served with Tony Curtis on the USS Proteus .
Happy Birthday Larry Storch with many happy returns!
