Interesting. When I have built retaining walls etc I use a water level. Rather simple device. Take a long clear plastic tube. Fill ti with water and get all bubbles out. Then, keeping the main tube lower than the ends put one end by an established elevation. Then have the other individual raise and lower the other end until your the water in the tube s level with the established elevation. The water level at the other end is now level with your established elevation. I leveled a retaining wall to with in a 1/4 inch over 70 feet.

Interesting, thanks for the share. We have two engineers in my area who have come up with 3_D printed concrete homes. They have build a model, say they can build up to 4,000 SF, even two story. Had a photo of prototype in local paper, wish I had kept it. May see in a couple of years.
