Thanks for letting us know SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that the littoral combat ship USS Montgomery (LCS 8) limped back to port only days after its commissioning. Three LCS's have been affected so far within 3 weeks due to engineering problems. Unlike the F-35A problem which grounded almost 50% of the aircraft, the LCS problems manifested themselves in operations. It is much better for a problem to be discovered in scheduled depot level maintenance than in operations.

It's nice to see them survive the Shock Trials. Now they need to survive their underway periods. One step at a time, i guess.

This made me laugh (because it's right). Thanks, PO1. The LCS program is the Navy's version of the F-35. Wasteful, useless, pork.
