SGT (Join to see) If Kapernick did not believe that there was a candidate worthy of voting for, then he did the right thing in not voting for POTUS. Here in FL I had a two page ballot. We had so many items including amendments for medicinal marijuana. In that regard, not wanting to vote for POTUS is one thing, not participating in the process, makes me have the reaction, "step up or shut up."

I am going to be honest- this one was on the hardest conversations to follow. Even more so than trying to explain to a 4 year old why they have to eat their vegetables. Not trying to be mean- but Shannon Sharpe beleaguers a point beyond making it losing the point in the delivery.

I think they are completely different responses and you shouldn't be a spokesperson for oppression if you aren't strong enough to stand up and vote. Lebron James' response was what a leader should say and taking the appropriate stance. Shannon Sharpe is trying to keep the message alive, which is also a great stance, but that's not what people are upset about...The man should have voted.
