In recognition of Suicide Awareness Month in September, the Army issued a challenge to its soldiers- to get better at unit cohesion by inviting all soldiers and leaders to do leg tucks together throughout the month. A great number of units participated in the challenge. Though leg tucks won’t solve military suicide, the challenge was a great way for veterans to establish a support network between unit members throughout the month.
“We want to make it clear at every level that there are resources available for those who need it, and to educate everyone on how to get it.”
