Ma'am this is an amazing read. It really made me take a step back and reflect for a moment. I feel as though at some point we all hit that for in the road with eight different paths, but due to societal constraints or special circumstances we shy away from making that nineth road. This letter speaks volumes on how much power there is in words. How we speak as leaders/mentors is generally through a singular lense. As a mentee, I can even admit myself, you can answer your own question. What I gathered from this is before you make a decision on what you want to do in life, make your decision based off of who you are. We all can offer something special to society, but we tend to lean towards the safe route, especially when it comes to job hunting. I could go on and on about this read but it definitely provides a lot of food for thought. Favorite quote in the letter, "conform the goal to the man, not conforming the man to the goal."
