Life after Baylor: Mississippi State, Tennessee have tough decisions to make

I am a Mississippi State Alum and a big fan. I am also a fan of Dan Mullen...he has done a lot for his players and the university. However, if the school admits him then we have bigger problems than football. I would hope the admissions team would not accept him into the school to begin with. If they do and he plays, I would be severely disappointed in Coach Mullen. We never have a great and outstanding football team that is vying for the national title. However, we do pride ourselves in making men and grooming leaders through athletics. We have had our share of issues but our school is known for a clean program and I would hope that Dan Mullen would keep it that way. As SFC Davis stated below, these kids are role models and I think we have enough bad role models for our kids now and certainly don't need anymore.

I honestly don't know what more Butch Jones could have done. Every time a player has been accused of something he has suspended them. A.J. Johnson was the team leader, led the team in tackles and he was suspended the day he was accused and never played another down.
