One of my MOST favorite songs I’ve ever recorded. The incredible Tommy Sims sang and danced on this one. We obviously made the “Hold On” video together… what a full day. I had just given birth 4 months prior and still looked pregnant, so there were mainly shots from the waist-up. Anytime I’ve performed in Nashville, I’ve always asked Tommy to come and sing this song with me and he’s ALWAYS shown up, he was never too busy for me, and ya’ll he’s BUSY!! But I’ll forever be in his debt for this song, cause it’s an awesome song and I’ve heard from SO many folks thru the years that this song got them thru a really rough time and they were able to HOLD ON until the circumstances in their lives changed for the better and they moved on.
