From what I understand there are a little less than 1,000,000 US veterans from WWI still alive in this nation. While this site you mentioned lists "notable" veterans there are many more not listed who are notable to their family and friends.

LTC Stephen F. I agree! It doesn't depict every veteran of WWII, however I did not know a lot served by going through the list!
