Louisiana Guard fires brigade commander over ‘inappropriate’ texts

It seems making written or even text message that can be showed and read if they are a problem it's pretty hard to deny. Nothing like providing evidence that can be viewed to sink Your own ship !

Is there no self control with any one in a senior leadership position? I'm serious here. I know the military is a microcosm of society, but man this is getting tiresome.

The headline indicates the COL was relieved due to inappropriate texts, but the article was actually about his subordinates' misconduct during deployments. It's not real clear what the COL did or did not do to get relieved.
