I have had Beagles and a Shepherd Husky mix... and both great dogs... WIth two people working, it was tough to handle the requirements for the Sep-Husky... With two homes, I would go with a small dog now who can fly with us in the cabin... or a Cat... Love Cats, Jack...

Understand that, we've had big dogs but currently a Yorkie for the reasons you mention.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - One thing I cannot take is a dog that is always yipping... I would stay away from those as would my wife... LOL!

High energy for sure. They'll have you in stitches laughing. Fearless for their size. Love G. Shepherds too.

Smedley and larger mate Molly. They are angel babies now, along with Chesty, Minnie and Pinnie. Daisy is 18, blind and deaf, but very mobile, considering. Miniature Pinschers - King of the Toys. They're like Lay's, you can't have just one.
