I am a fault finder and a contrarian. And I see a VERY large potential for this going horrible awry. Namely a male user listing as female specifically to get vulnerable female drivers.
I really hope this does not come to pass, but those hopes are not high.....
I applaud Lyft for recognizing a problem and finding a solution. I just hope they have FULLY thought through the solution and have safeguards in pmace.

I have been in a female dominated job for 20 years and women are far more evil to other women. Female on female crime would also likely be downplayed to make this program a success.
