This is the EXACT reason I oppose "Red Flag Laws". The whole premise of those laws is "guilty until we run out of excuses to keep your guns".

The premise of those laws is to keep people safe from others who are not fit to have a firearm. Red Flag laws are not taking weapons from people permanently unless they continue to be a threat to themselves or others.
