I agree, but only pre-1977. They were the best live band ever in my opinion. Peter Frampton opened for them regularly. After Frampton Comes Alive came out, they did theirs. I still listen to One More from the Road on the way to and from work. It is my favorite live album from that time when there were a lot of great live albums.

Ya, early stuff is best. We had them in concert at my college in 60s before they were even called Lynyrd Skynyrd. That's how I got hooked on them.

Another great band from north Florida these guys from Jacksonville.
Dave, interesting how the guys named their band after their high school
gym teacher.

They had a wrestling tournament at Lee High School when I coached. It was like stepping into the past. SPC Woody Bullard

SGT (Join to see) - Leonard Skinner was the most famous high school
gym teacher in America. He did not like that long hair the boys were wearing back then
so they named the band after him. He probably did not like their music. Crazy story but
true. Going to Lee High School when you were coaching must have been a neat experience. Did you get the chance to meet Mr. Skinner ?
