At BMT there was some weird type of pasta made in our squadron DFAC, I think it was vegetarian and it was served as the main dish. Couldn't stand it.

At Keesler they had veal with some mystery sauce, never tried it because I got a stomach ache from just looking at it.

Scott's DFAC was probably the best, can't think of anything I didn't care for there but as far as good food they had a civilian Chef who made some damn good Steaks and Ribs once in a while, that guy was awesome up until the Civilian cuts and he disappeared. Don't know if he ever came back as I stopped going to the DFAC not long after.

I hated the Chicken ala King MRE. That thing was disgusting. Mess Halls have changed a lot since I came in. You now have so many choices I doubt anybody complains much.
