Sadly the idiots coming up with the new ideas are never the ones that drown/die...

I've met both Mr Mabus and mr Carter. Both seemed to have a view that they know what's best for us without actually considering what's truly good for the navy. I still don't see what killing rates will do or has done...

PO3 Donald Murphy - funny that you mention that. I wonder if i can "convert" back to my original rating considering that i regularly helped out with combat systems on underways

PO1 (Join to see) - You know.... didn't NEC's honestly do the same thing as this new system will? Like for instance a STG2 could be trained on legacy systems while another STG2 was trained on A(V)15 same rate different jobs

PO2 (Join to see) - It could do the same but your NEC's were also security based as well. So the detailer knew that anyone with NEC XXXX had a certain clearance level. Getting back to my point, we swapped jobs on the submarine all the time. But our clearance level was so high that we could go from Yeoman to Radioman instantly with no time lag. I stood a ton of watches underway; Fire Control Tech, Radio, Sonar.

I would have thought the MCPON would have fought this tooth and nail, instead of originating it.
