Very few times that after in my uniform when I came off deployment. I have many pairs of fire retardant ACU's. It's a good thing for the sailors but in the army or released from the Army National Guard/ Army Reserve I got to keep most of my uniforms and all my cold weather gear such as silk pajamas polypropylene and that kind of stuff which is great because I work for United Parcel Service and that cold weather gear in Canada really helps and and the old fashioned DCU all the undergarments were dark brown which matches the UPS uniform LOL.

That seems reasonable SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that deployed navy personnel would be able to retain their Navy Working Uniform Type IIIs once their tours are over. After all the uniforms would not be likely to be recyclable to other sailors
Kudos to former Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus for a common-sense decision.
