Akima Facilities Management (AFM) provides facilities support for multi-facility campuses, research laboratories, highly secure government facilities, and office buildings. From basic custodial services to highly specialized operations services, AFM combines proven experience with innovative approaches to handle the details of facility maintenance allowing our clients to focus on their core missions.
AFM is seeking Maintenance Electricians for full time positions located at MCB Quantico, VA. Various shifts available.
Qualifications/Minimum Qualifications:
• Journeyman skill level.
• Four years (4) years’ experience in electrical maintenance.
• High school graduate or equivalent GED.
• Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.
• All employees will be required to wear a mask while on shift.
