Removing the penalties is one way to bring this down.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - two years mandatory military service for all US residents not born with physical handicaps! All immigrants illegal or not mandatory service time and registered green card before separation of service!

There problem solved!
Everyone's medically covered and the only argument will be fixing VA benefits.
Everyone under 40 should have to serve! Anyone over should be the only ones Grandfathered into Medicare!
This also might probably fix a lot of the immigration issues as a lot of the countries that come here have mandatory military service!

CDR Jon Corrigan - The bad behavior I was referring to was the actions by the President not to pursue illegal immigration. Once again, I have already stated it was underhanded the way they voted for and implemented ACA.

PO1 John Crafton - The SCOTUS DID rule it was a tax. Chief Justice John Roberts, the deciding vote, wrote that the individual mandate to buy health insurance is a constitutional exercise of Congress's taxing power. Today, when you file, you are required to submit the information from your 1095 TAX FORM.

SFC (Join to see) - No, I disagree with compulsory service. The reason our military is the best is due to the fact it is voluntary.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - It is not the same at all. Obama sent many conflicting messages about immigration and border security, there didn't appear to be a cohesive policy. Trump, on the other hand, is consistent. It is his administration's policy and intent to repeal the ACA, and this action is just one way of helping Americans not to be punished by a law that is soon to be gone.

And since when is it the purview of the IRS to enforce medical law?

What I never understood from day 1 is how could someone in their right mind, with clear conscience, could knowingly tax a family because they couldn't afford to pay for the affordable care act! Can you say hypocritical contradiction of terms? Families were suffering from double jeopardy at the hands of the very government that is supposed to have their best interest at heart! Anti Trump people can say what they want, but at least the man is getting results, which is WAY more than what anyone else has done for a long time! Split hairs all you want, he is doing exactly what he said he would do, and that's why he was voted to be the POTUS.

CPO Jim Cerullo - Yes, I listen to him, and I even admire him. From reading your rant, it's clear you know little about Trump, nothing about psychology, and are dealing with a few of your own delusions. Trump has never been diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder by anyone who has actually seen him in a clinical visit -- you reading something online does not give you the ability to give a diagnosis, and for anyone who actually has the ability to give a diagnosis, diagnosing Trump without seeing him or publicizing the diagnosis without permissions constitutes malpractice and a serious breach of ethics.

You're ashamed to be an American because of Trump? Feel free to move to Canada, if they'll even take you.

SSgt Christopher Brose - Why would you say i know nothing about Psychology? I have a Master's Degree in Psychology and worked in that field for 20 years after I retired from the Navy. Nobody has to read something online. This buffoon has more air time than some people who work in broadcasting. There's more than enough video evidence of his illness. Hundreds of professionals in the Mental health field have said if they had to give a diagnosis NPD would be their choice. Why wouldn't Canada take me? They're like Americans used to be before the far right drank the kool-aid.

CPO Jim Cerullo - Whatever, lefty. You just told me you have no professional integrity, because if what you say about yourself is true then you KNOW you are not supposed to discuss diagnoses (A) in public (B) without permission (C) without even having seen the person you are diagnosing. Apparently, you are so far left and so unhinged that it has become more important for you to impugn the President via remote diagnoses than it is to maintain your integrity and adhere to any simile of ethics.
