Seems to me that this could go both ways with regards to whether it was racially motivated or not. While the man could have decided to heed the suggestion by the other member (who could have been the racist one by the way) questioning the lady's membership based on racist sentiment, it might have been something else. I have yet to see the video, as it would not load, but in reading the article, I noted someone else alerted him to the lady. I have no idea how she initially reacted when he first questioned her, but it seems to me that if he were met with rudeness or a dismissive attitude, no matter what the person looked like, I too could see myself verifying the person's address. On the other hand, my community pool allows outsiders from the nearby communities to join their pool, so IDs would be useless. In the end, I don't think the man handled the situation well, but there is not much to go on with this article and like I said, I wasn't able to watch the video.
