The boyfriend was a world class loser, of course. There are no excuses for domestic abuse and violence! Also, women are not objects.

According to Daily Mail, James McCourt, a 19-year-old man from Scotland was sentenced to 21 months in prison for an assault on his girlfriend. He locked her in their apartment, took her phone, disconnected the internet and beat her with punches for four hours straight.
Skillen, 18, said that the assault happened after he accused her for leaving his jacket and cigarettes behind when they returned from a night out.
During the incident, he told her that she is going to have a bruised face the next day anyway so that`s why he made sure to do it right! She was so badly bruised that she stayed home for three weeks.
"During the incident, I kept saying ‘Is it worth going to jail?’ and he said ‘I don’t care if I go to jail as long as you’re dead,’” Skillen said. “I remember thinking; he is trying to kill me."
After a while she stopped screaming and that`s when her ex started pouring water over her. She drifted in and out of consciousness so many times which explains why she had no idea that he was beating her for so long.
Sam Cathcart, the judge of the case, placed McCourt under supervision for eight months after he gets out of jail. He also has a five year restraining order and banned from contacting Skillen, his former partner.
Skillen is happy that her ex can`t get to her and he`s being sent away.
After going through this horrible experience she wanted to warn others about domestic abuse and that`s why she posted images of her injuries on Facebook. Skillen believes that by doing so, she would prevent other poor girls from going through the same horrible experience. She is also glad for all the people that took time to support her.

I hope he is in Gen Population and that the word is put out...prisoners have their own code of honor and this puke violated it.

Despicable and so glad he received jail time. Hopefully she is free of him and won't have to worry about him stalking her when he's released at the end of his sentence.
