When my youngest went to the recruiter I went with him, as they were making their offer to him I said hey I would like to go to basic with my son, they said how old are you I said 57 but I identify as a 21 year old. The recruiter just stared at me trying to see if I was serious when my son gave me up and he let out a nervous laugh. Damn I would make a great PVT these days :)
