It's not the weapon; it's the person that is shooting it, driving it, stabbing with it, clubbing with it, etc., etc., etc.

Could have stopped it with a big stick also. People everyday are saved by people assisting them one way or another and is not reported in the news. He could have brought out a 22 pistol and got the same result!
