Marine Corps Boot Camp - Drill Instructors DESTROY Recruits!!!

You always had people that arrived at Parris Island/San Diego and realized they bit off far more than they could chew. To some degree, everyone was that way. Many/most overcame the fear, intensive training, rough discipline etc. Some looked for a way out. I think that is what this guy is doing, trying to find the exit. He could be injured or ill but unlikely.

These sorts of folks have to be weeded out. With the excessively bright light on Marine Corps boot camp it gets harder to apply the pressure to snap people and let them reveal their inability to handle it. The other reality is the Drill Instructor will not instantly give up on a recruit or they might find themselves with a revolving door. The exit will require a lot of discomfort to get to.

The one line that still rings in my ear is when the Series CO said that the Drill Instructors would not give up on you even after some of you have given up on yourselves. Sounds good until you see that in practice. When they don't give up on you it gets very, very painful.

The nonstop desire to soften standards and make things easier or less brutal will allow more cupcakes into the armed forces giving the fleet the role to weed these people out. Not a lot of fun having shit birds flying about.

The defense department has been run by Obama and his cadre for 8 years. There are few that think morale, training, equipment and readiness are at higher levels now than when he took over.

The Marine Corps we can fix a bad campaign promises to pull troops out of Iraq ISIS come to life in the Middle East - fall apart and surrounding areas in the European Union doubtful 26 this anytime soon.
